本日、2月17日に白石が渡仏しました。
いよいよ24年のヴァンデ・グローブに向けて再始動です。
昨年、日本の海を走ったDMG MORI GLOBAL ONEは、2月14日にフランスへと到着しました。貨物船に乗り、スエズ運河を通り約2カ月の航海でした。
予選レースの一つである、5月のBERMUDES 1000 RACEを目指し、これから急ピッチでメンテナンスをしていきます。

ヴァンデ・グローブ後から、約1年日本に滞在し、久しぶりに日本で長い時間を過ごすことが出来ました。いよいよ本格的に24年のヴァンデ・グローブに向けて、チームが再始動します。
チームは、新加入のクルーを含め大所帯となっています。
私も初めて会うクルーが何名かおりますが、これまで以上にチームワークを高め、求められている結果を出す為に、全力を尽くしてきます。

On February 17th, Kojiro has left Japan to return to France.
The road to the Vendée Globe 2024 starts once again.
After sailing the seas of Japan last year, his boat DMG MORI Global One has safely arrived in France on February 14th. The IMOCA was loaded on a cargo-ship and passed through the Suez Canal over it’s two-month journey.
DMG MORI Global One will go through a full refit to prepare for the BERMUDES 1000 RACE, a qualification race scheduled in May 2022.

Since the end of the Vedée Globe, I have spent almost 1 full year in Japan. It has been a while since I have spent this much time back home!
The preparation for the Vendée Globe 2024 is on full throttle, and our team has grown larger than ever.
There are several team members I haven’t yet met, but I am looking forward to getting to know them. We will need even greater teamwork to achieve our goals, and I am ready to give it all I have and do my very best.

Aujourd’hui, le 17 février, Kojiro est parti du Japon pour rejoindre son équipe en France.
Son bateau DMG MORI Global One est bien arrivé en France le 14 février, après une longue campagne au Japon. L’Imoca a été transporté par cargo, et son voyage à prix 2 mois en traversant par le canal de Suez.
Une fois rentrer à Lorient, le bateau sera en chantier intensif pour préparer une des courses de qualification, la BERMUDES 1000 RACE en mai 2022.
≫Les Mots de Kojiro
Depuis que j’ai fini le dernier Vendée Globe, j’ai passé presque une année entière au Japon. Ça fait longtemps que j’ai passé autant de temps chez moi !
La préparation pour Vendée Globe 2024 est en plein redémarrage.
Il y a quelques nouveaux membres de l’équipe que je n’ai pas encore rencontré mais j’ai hâte de faire leur connaissance. Nous aurons besoin d’une équipe forte et bien unie pour attendre nos objectifs. Je suis à fond, et prêt à tout pour faire de mon mieux.
