【DMG MORI boat Log #13】

もうそろそろ南氷洋を抜けた感じだ。
今日までは30ノット近く吹き、明日からそんなに強い風が吹かないだろう。
僕の船はメインセールが小さいのでスピードは望めない。
ともかくあと1ヶ月このセールと共に、レ・サーブル・ドロンヌに帰らなければならない。
メインセールは１枚きりだからね。
昨日は久しぶりに星空を見た。
天の河の中に南十字星が浮かんで綺麗だったよ。
早く北斗七星が見たい。
昼は気温も上がり船内で20度。
やっと今日から結露がなくなった。
今回はこの結露でバックがみんな白カビだらけになってしまった。
こんなに白カビが生えたことは記憶にないが何でだろう。
身体を吹くウエットティッシュで今度バックをきれいに拭こう。セールの修理キットを入れているバックも白カビで見るも無残になってしまった。
帰ったら買い替えましょう。
部屋のバルクヘッドも解放して開放的だ。
これから風が弱くなったら宿題を片付けていかなければならない。
細かなことまで直したい物がいっぱいある。慌てずに直して行きましょう。
食糧は充分ある。
まだ南氷洋用の食料バックがあるので、暑いところでこってりしたものを食べなければならない。
こうなったらいろいろなバックから好きなものを抜いてたべよう！
“We are almost finished with the Southern Oceans.
I was getting used to the 30 knots wind conditions but tomorrow will be a new day.
No more strong wind! Too bad because of my main sail that cannot be hoisted to full.
I need to take care of my main sail for at least a month of sailing, or else I will not be able to finish.
I saw the southern cross stars last night. I haven’t seen them for a while. They were very beautiful.
But being a person who is living in the northern hemisphere, I still want to see the Big Dipper.
Weather temperature is getting warmer, it is more than 20 degrees in the boat.
I am looking forward the boat dries up a little bit more. The inside is full of condensation. Some parts have moulded and it is a little discomforting.
I still have a lot of homework to do. Lots of small things that broke in the Souther Oceans that needs to be repaired.
Plenty of food left, I am starting to eat the food we prepared for the Southern Oceans now. It’s not a good timing for this, because it’s going to be warm outside. I might just hand pick what I like and eat as I go.
All is good on board, I need to be a little more patient. I will do my best!”
