Kojiro SHIRAISHI onboard DMG MORI Global One has launched a meteorological drifting buoy yesterday. This buoy will be useful for real-time weather forecasts based on atmospheric pressure data, as well as for ship routing, pollution prevention and clean-up (oil spills) using the data gathered during this research.
