昨夜12/4(金)UTC 03:25頃DMG MORI Global One号のバウスプリット（ヨットの最先端部分）のタック部分が破損したことが発覚しました。当時、白石はFR0セールを張っており、セールを回収するのに1時間ほどかかりました。
このタックはサイズの大きいセールを張るためにあるもので、バウスプリットからマストトップ、またはフラクショナルハリヤードにつけるものです。
このタックを使用できないと、バウスプリットを支点にセールを張ることができないため、船のスピードもあがりません。
現在、白石とショアチームとで問題解決策を考えており、海のコンディションが良くなるタイミングでタックの修理をする予定です。
また、一時的な修理方法で、破損したJ0タックをJ1タックに移動させることをショアチームが提案し、現在、白石はこの修理に取り掛かっています。この修理が成功した場合、大きなFR0セールを張ることが可能になります。

At 3:25 UTC this morning the IMOCA DMG MORI Global One, suffered a minor problem at the bowsprit.
He was sailing with the FR0 sail with the J0 tack when the tack broke.
It took him about an hour to recover his sail that was dangling on his mast.
This tack is used to hoist bigger sails from the bowsprit to the top of the mast or the fractional halyard.
Without this tack, Kojiro is not able to hoist a sail from the bowsprit.
This explains his slower pace at the moment.
Meetings are currently taking place between Kojiro and his technical team to try to repair this minor problem.
Kojiro will start repair whenever the conditions allow him to.
Meanwhile, the team suggested him to replace the J0 tack with the J1 tack for the moment, for him to be able to hoist a bigger sail.
Kojiro did a thorough check of the boat yesterday, and didn’t find any other troubles.
